Terms and Conditions
Thank you for visiting FundingChances.com. By visiting, donating, and/or fundraising through this website, you agree to the terms, conditions, and guidelines provided by the following User Agreement. Please read thoroughly as using the website indicates your understanding and agreement of these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use FundingChances as a means to fundraise, donate, or promote second chances.
These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time, without notice, effective immediately. Your continued use after the modification symbolizes your acceptance of such changes.
By using FundingChances services, you affirm that; (1) you are old enough (18) or have parental consent, (2) your use does not violate any law or regulation, (3) all the information provided is truthful and legitimate, and (4) you will notify FundingChances of any and all unauthorized use of the service. If we believe there is any violation of these terms, we hold the responsibility and right to terminate your privilege to use our services.
FundingChances maintains the right to change service fees and or amount of payment at any time after providing prior notice to you. These changes will be effective to new users while current fundraisers will remain unchanged until expired.
When creating a fundraiser account, the user will be required to complete registration and provide relevant information that is truthful and complete. If the information is found to be incomplete or inaccurate, the account may be denied or terminated at any time at the sole discretion of funding chances. This is to protect the service from being used in a way it was not intentioned. If terminated due to illegitimate use, it will be taken as a refusal of services and Funding Chances will not be held responsible for any incurred losses and raised funds will be used at our discretion.
In addition to stated Terms and Conditions, those who use FundingChances to create fundraisers agree to the following when clicking on “Family Sign Up”.
- You must be 18 years or older or have parental consent
- You comply with all applicable laws
- The cause is legitimate and the funds will be used solely for stated purpose
- Understand FundingChances may require further information to validate cause
- Have consent of all persons used or referenced on the Cause page.
In addition to the stated Terms and Conditions, Donors agree to the following when clicking “Donate Now”
- You must be 18 years or older or have parental consent
- You comply with all applicable laws
- FundingChances is not responsible for use of donated funds after transfer to beneficiary. Therefore, it is suggested that you donate to known causes.
FundingChances is not responsible for the content posted on the website by donors, fundraisers, or visitors. However, we hold the privilege to delete any content that is;
- False and/or damaging to FundingChances or any other third party
- Not in compliance with Copyright laws
- Unlawful
- Harassing, Pornographic, racist, encourage criminal conduct, or otherwise considered obscene
However, it is your responsibility to understand that you may be exposed to such and is imperative that it is reported to FundingChances so the questionable material can be promptly addressed.
By using our service, you give FundingChances the privilege to transmit, copy, and/or publish provided materials for sole purposes of stated service. Those wishing to use information from Funding Chances may do so only with permission. The material may be published but not altered.
FundingChances is a platform where donors are put in contact with those in need. We are not responsible for any damages incurred through use of our service.
You may never use another Member's account without permission. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure. You must notify Fundingchances immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account. Although Fundingchances will not be liable for your losses caused by any unauthorized use of your account, you shall be liable for the losses of Fundingchances or others due to such unauthorized use.
You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots," "spiders," "offline readers," etc., that accesses the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the Fundingchances server than a human can reasonably produce in the same period of time by using a conventional on-line web browser. You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Service nor to use the communication systems provided by the Service for any commercial solicitation purposes.
This agreement governs the use of FundingChances and all third parties associated with the site. You are responsible for keeping up to date with these terms of service as they will change periodically. Any provision of this agreement that is found to be unenforceable or invalid will be replaced by one that encompasses the original objective while all others remain effective.

(Addendum) 12/05/12
Unfortunately, we intended this site to be 100% fee free(excluding the Paypal fee), but as the site became functional we learned that the blueprint we used to create the site would not allow for this to function properly. This was something that we did not forsee and are currently addressing it. Until then, we have lowered the fee to the minimal as possible at 1%. We apologize for this inconvenience! Our intentions are not to mislead in any way and feel that our original intentions for this site are still relevant.
